| Risk decision-making are closely related to our daily lives.Risk decision-making has been a concern of psychologists and economists. At present, many studies focus on the impact of immediate emotion on risk decision-making behavior, but less research on the relationship between trait anxiety and risk decision-making.Anxiety is a common emotion in daily life. Therefore, the further explorations about how trait anxiety influences risk decision-making have profound significance. Moreover, some studies have shown that self-esteem will influence the individual’s risk decision-making behavior, but there is no unified conclusion. In addition,a large number of studies have confirmed that trait anxiety and self-esteem are closely related, but few researchers comprehensively examine the influence of trait anxiety and self-esteem on risk decision-making.In this study,we will conduct experiments and questionnaires combination, using the Iowa game task(IGT)and risk decision questionnaire to study the influence of trait anxiety-and self-esteem on risk decision-making behavior. In study I,with a task of Iowa game task(IGT),we explored how the trait anxiety and the self-esteem influence risk decision-making.The results showed that:(1)the higher the level of one’s trait anxiety, the more inclined to risk aversion, the higher the level of one’s self-esteem,the more inclined to risk seeking;(2)Intermediary analysis found that self-esteem had no significant mediating effect between trait anxiety and risk aversion;(3)Regulatory analysis revealed that self-esteem can moderate the relationship between trait anxiety and risk aversion. In study Ⅱ,with the risk decision questionnaire,we explored how the trait anxiety and the self-esteem influence risk decision-making in different task framework. The results showed that:(1)Individual risk decision-making behavior has a significant frame effect.(2)Different task framework will influence the relationship between trait anxiety,self-esteem and risk decision-making.Trait anxiety and self-esteem are only relevant in the framework of loss and risk decision-making.In conclusion, the results showed that:(1)trait anxiety and self-esteem cansignificantly influence the risk decision-making behavior, the higher the trait anxiety, the more risk aversion, the higher the level of self-esteem,the more risk-seeking,and the self-esteem can moderate the relationship between trait anxiety and risk aversion;(2)Different task framework will influence the relationship between trait anxiety,self-esteem and risk decision-making.Trait anxiety and self-esteem are only relevant in the framework of loss and risk decision-making. |
