A Mock Interpreting Report On A Lecture Of Natural Rubber

China makes a great contribution to and has made remarkable achievements in modern agriculture.China can be self-sufficient and help some developing countries get rid of poverty and become better off as well.Helping African Agriculture is a typical programme in which Hainan plays an important role.As an institute of higher learning,Hainan University has the responsibility to co-host the programme.As a graduate of Hainan University,choosing materials about tropical agriculture as my thesis not only highlights the superiority of Hainan University,but also is a big challenge to myself.Thereupon,the interpreting report is based on a lecture The Past,Present and Future of Natural Rubber by Professor Deng Hui.The interpreting report has been completed under the guidance of text typology theory proposed by Reiss and has analyzed the text in depth.During the mock interpreting,the report is practical and realistic.The language requires to be logical and content-focused.This report is divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the background of the task,the content of the text,requirement,difficulties and objectives of the task.The second part describes the preparation of the task from professional knowledge,language preparation and experience.The third part is the text typology theory.The fourth part is translation strategies and cases study.The last part is conclusion.
