A Report On The Translation Of Medical Text Under The Guidance Of Text Typology

With the improvement of China's overall national strength,the living standards of Chinese people have continued to increase,and the demand for medical and health care has also increased.Therefore,more demands have been placed on domestic medical care and medical research.Taking cancer treatment as an example,immunotherapeutic studies for cancer,aiming at treating cancer in the perspective of immune system,have emerged internationally.As a result,to accelerate the development of China's medical and health undertakings,it is necessary for medical workers to carry out cancer immunotherapeutic research.If something is neded to learn from the international research results during the research process,then the translation of a large amount of related English medical texts is inevitably in need.This translation practice is based on the translation of Cancer Immunotherapy Confers a Global Benefit which involves History of Immunotherapy of Cancers,Immunotherapy Is Going Upstream to Combat Cancers,Strategies of Cancer Immunotherapy,Limitations of Cancer Immunotherapy,etc.The translation report is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the background,introduction and significance of the translation project.The second part introduces the translation process,including pre-translation preparation,translation and post-proofreading.The third part is the main body,in which the author firstly illustrates Text Typology and then analyzes the vocabulary and sentences guide under the guidance of Text Typology,by listing the author's translation cases.The fourth part is the summary of translation practice,mcluding the revelation the author gained through the translation practice,as well as the shortcomings that the author recognized.This translation practice is guided by Text Typology.The author hopes to highlight the guiding sign ificance of the theory on the translation of medical texts.At the same time,the author expects that this translation practice could provide some reference for the translation of medical texts considering the less study of medical text translation.
