Based on the aesthetics of Japanese-style sentimentality and profundity,the article focuses on the performance of Japanese national culture in Makoto Shinkai 's animation works,and the design and application of audio-visual elements in Makoto Shinkai 's animation works.The article analyzes and integrates four main contents and several minor issues it contains.Firstly,the Japanese aesthetics of sentimentality and profundity.The main contents are as follow: the basic composition of the formation of Japanese aesthetic consciousness,including: the recognition of Japanese national character and the characteristics of Japanese national character;the aesthetic appreciation of sentimentality and profundity,including the interpretation of sentimentality and profundity;the aesthetic characteristics of sentimentality and profundity;the relationship between them.Secondly,the Japanese aesthetic thought in Makoto Shinkai 's creation.It mainly explores the creative complex of Makoto Shinkai;the influence of Murakami's works on Makoto Shinkai 's creation;the theme of Makoto Shinkai's works;the narrative nature of Makoto Shinkai 's works,including narrative structure and narrative characteristics;the narrative means of expression in Makoto Shinkai 's animated films,including the language and action expression of the characters in animation;and the ideographic design of prop elements in scenes.Thirdly,the composition analysis of audio-visual elements in Makoto Shinkai 's animated films.Mainly analyses and studies the composition characteristics of animation audio-visual elements;the design application of color,light and shadow in the picture;the design application of scenery and composition in animation;the design application of sound elements in animation,including voice,sound and music;and the design application of feature lens in animation,including empty lens and depth-of-field lens.Fourthly,the possibility of the development of Makoto Shinkai 's animation creation paradigm in Chinese animation creation.The research contents include the advantages and characteristics of Makoto Shinkai 's animation works and creation modes,including adherence to individual creation standards and personality labels;the rooted expression of national culture in Makoto Shinkai 's animation works;the advantages of Makoto Shinkai 's animation creation;and the realization methods of developing Chinese animation by usingMakoto Shinkai 's creation paradigm for reference.Through the analysis and combing of the above four points,this artical summarizes the characteristics of Makoto Shinkai 's unique animation creation mode based on Japanese aesthetic characteristics,and provides a model for Chinese independent animation film creation.
