Silk road of the grassland is the way to the west,the silk road in the oldest a road,as the connection Eurasia land bridge,its formation and development is closely connected with Eurasia on grassland national due to the instability of the nomadic economy,commerce and trade exchanges and substance exchange is growth in the Eurasian steppe different ethnic groups live in important ways,grassland of the silk road opened with inevitability of different national cultural artifacts religious text and so on all through this road continuously mutual communication between the east and the west.The ancient Eurasian steppe was once inhabited by a series of powerful nomadic ethnic groups,such as the Xiong Nu and the Turks,and established a vast nomadic regime spanning the Mongolian plateau and central Asia.Among them,Uighur people once established a vast Uyghur Khaganate in north of the desert area in the 8th century,becoming the new owner of the northern grassland.The Uyghur Khaganate controlled the north of the desert grassland area for more than one hundred years and extended its influence to the west.After the Anshi rebellion,the Uyghur Khaganate experienced a period of great development.Uighur acquired a large amount of valuable silk from the tang dynasty through silk horse trade with the central plains dynasty,and by paying tribute.The Uighur khanate continuously sold these goods to the west from the grassland silk road through the Western Regions,and the grassland silk road within the Uyghur Khaganate became increasingly prosperous.The Uighur khanate located in north of the desert area is located on the traffic arteries between China and the west.The blocked traditional western silk road makes the grassland silk road in Uighur khanate play an important role in the communication between east and west.The warm and humidclimate also provided objective conditions for the production of silk and the smooth passage of the grassland silk road.The alliance with the tang dynasty was conducive to the political stability of the khanate,and the Sugda who were good at business were put in the position.At the same time,a series of measures were taken to maintain the economic lifeline of the khanate,namely,the grassland silk road,by setting up road networks,setting up post stations,and competing with the Tibet kingdom for the western regions to protect the trade routes.The transshipment trade between China and the west promoted the prosperity of Uighur people's commerce,promoted the feudalization process of Uighur people in north of the desert area and transformed them into a settled and semi-settled society.The integration and development of eastern and western cultures in the Uighur in north of the desert area igreatly enriched the material and cultural life of Uighur and maintained the stable relationship with the Tang regime to a certain extent.The grassland silk road is not only the road of economy and trade,but also the road of cultural exchange,and it is also the road of consolidating political stability and development of the Uyghur Khaganate.Therefore,the Uyghur Khaganate took the initiative to protect the grassland silk road,and it became his historical mission to protect and develop the silk road of the grassland.
