Study On Idioms Of Historical Record

Studying idioms on a special book is not only an important part of the study of Chinese vocabulary,but also the foundation of idiom research.This paper chooses Historical Records as the object of study,aiming at seeking the idioms in this book and by taking these idioms as footholds,combining collations of them from ancient books to study the change and development of these idioms in history.This paper also intents to explore the theoretical and practical value of Historical Records from the point of ancient collation and dictionary compilation.Specifically,through the definition of idioms and the formation of Historical Records' idioms,the first part of this paper will take a theoretical discussion on the origin,use cases and the number of statistics of Historical Records' idioms.The second part summarizes the involvement mechanism of Historical Records' idioms as a whole,and selects common idioms for case analysis and examines the way of its formation and evolution.The third part explores the role of Historical Records' idioms in the collation of Historical Records and the existing problems of the current representative Chinese dictionaries in terms of idioms,interpretations and documentary cards,exploring the application value of Historical Records' idioms.Generally speaking,by examining the number of idioms,the use cases and exploring the reasons and rules of its form and meaning development of Historical Records' idioms,not only promotes the study of idioms on a special book,but also advances the growth of ancient collation and dictionary compilation.
