A Study On The Creation Techniques Of Yong Rubu Symphonic Chorus "Ode To The Grassland"

“Ode to the Grassland ”is a large-scale symphonic chorus for the60 th anniversary of the founding of inner Mongolia autonomous region by Mr.Yong Rubu,a famous contemporary Mongolian composer and conductor,using nine poems from the collection of Grassland poet Chen guanglin's“ Oh,grassland.” It is the only symphonic choral work among the composer's hundreds of music works,and is also China's first large-scale modern Mongolian symphonic choral work,showing the new features of grassland in the 21 st century from various angles.The work has a huge structure and rich contents,and combines the vocals and orchestra symphonies,modern western composing techniques and Mongolian traditional folk music materials,as well as the unique instrumental music and vocal singing forms(Ma Touqin,Changdiao)in Mongolian traditional music.At present,there are not many symphonic choruses on Mongolian themes in our country,and there are few research articles on Mongolian worksof this genre.The research on the large-scale symphonic choral “Ode to the Grassland” created by Yong Rubu is mostly critical articles,which is not enough to show the inner musical structure of the work in depth.This article focuses on the analysis and explanation of the development and changing methods of the core theme in different movements,and makes in-depth analysis and research on how to use a single theme to organically link the nine movements together.And from the characteristics of multi-voice writing techniques and democratized five-tone harmony techniques,a more in-depth study was carried out on how to reflect the Mongolian grassland music style.This article explores the logic of the creation of the works from the aspects of the text of the works and western " title music" in combination with the overall structural layout of the works.At last,the author analyzes and studies the arrangement of the band,the skillful combination of the unique instrumental music and vocal singing form of Mongolian traditional music,and the application of extensive color percussion music.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of Yong Rubu's large-scale symphonic chorus “Ode to the Grassland ”from the above angles,so as to study Mr.Yong Rubu's creative thinking and techniques and provide ideas for Mongolian style symphonic chorus research and creation.
