| With the continuous advance of globalization,commercial relations between China and foreign countries become closer and closer.Importing advanced medical instruments helps to promote the development of medical care in China.Before applicating imported medical instruments,applicant need to offer the clinical evaluation reports.That is to say,the translation of clinical evaluation reports is crucial to the application process.High-quality translation products can not only make more contribution to guiding physicians’ operation but also accelerate international exchange and cooperation.Clinical evaluation as a continuous process throughout the life cycle of medical instruments is of great significance for the quality management.In the process of translating the clinical evaluation reports of medical instruments,the main difficulties lie in frequent using of professional terms and long sentences.Therefore,a lot of preparation need to be done before translating,such as collecting and arranging the professional vocabularies of the medical instrument,consulting the Chinese and English versions of the relevant literatures,reading the instructions and testing process of instruments.The preparation can help reduce translation errors and avoid bluntness in translation.This thesis analyzes the problems in translating vocabulan,syntax and discourse under.Skopos theory.The author proposed translation methods to solve these problems and verifying the feasibility of Skopos theory in the translation of medical instrument clinical evaluation report.Providing references for related translating research in the future. |
