Surrounding With Sound

This essay carries out the sonicvision research on the theme “CITY NOISE” and tries to display the state of sound in the form of visual presentation.With the development of society,the issue of city noise becomes more serious,which damages people's physical and psychological health.Thus we must paid more attention on this issue.Compared with the words expression,the sonicvision will be more consistent with the fast lifestyle and easy to be accepted by people.This form can achieve good information transmission function to arouse the public concern about the city noise pollution,and hopes to create a harmonic,peaceful and comfortable living environment.Taking the noise pollution and protection as the entry point,the whole design work is a series of public posters and consists of three aspects: noise source,people's feelings under noise pollution and vision of a better future.The pre-design investigation collects noise materials and refines the design elements.Using the form of visual illusion,dense arrangement and intense color contrast,we can create a disorganized dynamic feeling,which immerses the viewer on the noise environment.This can reproduce the emotions such as irritability and dizziness caused by noise and resonates on the soul.Finally,the objective visual image of the noise obtained by the previous cymatic experiment was incorporated into the poster design to present the noise with wonderful vision,and we hope for the beauty of tomorrow world.
