The Study On "Traveling Narration" By Wen Cheng-ming

“traveling narration”originated from Zong Bing's theory of drawing landscapes for “sleeping”in the southern dynasty.But it was not until the Ming Dynasty that it began to appear in large numbers,and developed into an eye-catching category.especially represented by Wen Cheng-ming.The purpose of this thesis is to tease “the early traveling narration”,analyze the elements in the painting.in the meantime discusses the development and change of“traveling narration”in the early Ming Dynasty.In the meantime,explan the image content and painting style of Wen Cheng-ming “traveling narration”,in order to reveal the unique artistic achievement.This paper mainly discusses the connotation of the image and the style of the image of Wen Cheng-ming “traveling narration”:Firstly,It is about “elegant meetings”created the image mode of literati to tea party friends,It shows the reliusive mood of the wild literati in the late Ming dynasty.Then,It mainly depicts the natural landscape of “pleased traveling”,for express the feeling of pleased traveling,or miss old friends with two swallows,Dong Zhuang and other images.Finally,Wen Cheng-ming “traveling narration”has its own originality on the basis of tradition,Formed two painting style of “fine strokes wet ink”and“thick marker”.Because “may living”“may traveling”narration artistic achievement,after Shen Zhou,Wen Cheng-ming become new leader of The Wumen Painting School,and had a profound effect on the latter.
