Image Metaphor In Freda Carol’s Self-portrai

Frida Kahlo(1907.7.6-1954.7.13)is an important Mexican painter in the history of art.Her unique painting style is highly praised by later generations.In her works,she tells her understanding of life and life.This paper analyzes the image metaphor in Freda’s self portrait from the perspective of painting psychology and metaphor.Chapter one gives a brief account of art psychology,metaphor and Frieda’s life experience;Chapter two explores Frieda’s early,middle and late works one by one to explore her metaphor in the picture of the ideological feelings and story implications;Chapter three analyses the influence of Frida’s works on artists,the masses and Chinese painters.
