In recent years,the development of mobile communication and the popularization of intelligent mobile devices has profoundly influenced people's live,work and study,which brings chances for new breakthroughs to the graphic design courses teaching in vocational schools as well.Graphic design as a curriculum includes theory learning and skill training,can not provide students with enough training and learning opportunities because of the limitation in teaching methods,low quality of teaching materials,lack of class interation and the shortage of equipments.In order to solve these problems,this research explores the application of WeChat official account admin platform in the teaching activities of Graphic Design courses.There are two functions of the application of WeChat.One is to expand the space of teaching,and the other is to intensify personalized guidance to students.Therefore,a WeChat account “yiyanyixing” is used as a teaching platform.A 3-stage action research is carried out with the combination of the writer's personal teaching experiment and experience,concluding the concrete ways to apply wechat into use during class.WeChat is used to extend the class without the limit of time and space and send helpful imformation in time so as to improve the teaching effectiveness of the courses.The study shows that application of WeChat official account admin platform in class teaching can broaden students' horizon,enhance students' interest of learning and make students more involved,As a result,students improve academic performances.In the meantime,it solves the problems like the old-fashioned teaching methods,the inadequacy of teaching methods,the inefficiency of the class,but make the course meet the different need of each student.
