As the last feudal dynasty in ancient Chinese history,the Qing Dynasty not only fully inherited and absorbed the experience and lessons of the previous feudal dynasties,but also achieved innovative development in the governance of frontier nationalities,which is a relatively successful model of Chinese feudal dynasties in the governance of border areas.Monan Mongolia is one of the closest ethnic groups to Northeast China,and one of the most closely interacted ethnic groups with Manchu.Therefore,the rulers of the Manchu and Qing Dynasty always regarded the governance of Monan Mongolia and the handling of the relationship between the Manchu and Mongolian nationalities as an important task of governing the country.This paper mainly discusses the governance of Monan Mongolia by the Qing government in the early Qing Dynasty.In the research process,this paper combines vertically and horizontally,sorted out the attachment of Monan Mongolia to the Qing Dynasty,explored the Qing government's governance strategies for Monan Mongolia in the early Qing Dynasty,and analyzed the gains and losses of governance of the Monan Mongolia in the early Qing Dynasty.Specifically,this paper mainly includes two parts: the introduction and text.The introduction mainly elaborates the purpose and significance of this study,the research status of the Qing Dynasty's governance ofMonan Mongolia at home and abroad,the research methods and innovation points of this paper,as well as the concept definition.The main body part is divided into three chapters: The first chapter starts with the historical background,and analyses the process of the attachment of Monan Mongolian ministries to the Hou Jin regime.The second chapter systematically discusses the governance strategies of Monan Mongolia in the early Qing Dynasty,and elaborates the specific contents of the four major policies of dividing and governing,combining grace with power,governing according to customs and governing according to law.The third chapter summarizes the gains and losses of Monan Mongolian governance in the early Qing Dynasty.In the early Qing Dynasty,the rulers of the Qing Dynasty had both gains and losses in the governance of Monan Mongolia.Their gains lie in promoting the economic development of Monan Mongolia,promoting ethnic integration and maintaining the unity of the country.Their losses are mainly manifested in the following three aspects: the drawbacks of the policy of dividing and governing,the negative impact on the Mongolian society of excessive attention to religion,and the tendency of emphasis on politics over economy.Taking history as a lesson,we can know the rise and fall.Summarizing and summarizing the Manchu rulers' governance strategies of Monan Mongolia in the early Qing Dynasty,and dialecticallyanalyzing the pros and cons of its governance process,which has a certain reference significance for the formulation of China's current national policy and the governance of border ethnic areas.
