Procrastination is the spontaneous delay or delay in starting a task,even if the negative impact of the delay on the outcome of the task is foreseeable.Self-control refers to the ability of individuals to control their own desires and needs according to their own or the society's expectations and change their inherent behavior and way of thinking.It is a process of adjusting oneself to match the environment.Parenting style refers to the integration of the stable attitude,thought,emotion and behavior of parents regarding their children as the center in the process of education and child rearing over a long period of time.This study takes the relationship between parenting style,self-control and procrastination as the research content to further understand the root cause of procrastination and provide theoretical basis for improving procrastination.First of all,the Pure delay questionnaire was used to investigate 512 middle school students,and project analysis and reliability and validity test were conducted on the questionnaire data.Secondly,this study adopts the questionnaire method to survey 610 high school students.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:1.The Pure procrastination questionnaire has good reliability and validity,and can be used as an effective tool to measure the procrastination of domestic middle school students.2.The extent of the investigation report boys in parents refuse to significantly higher than girls,the one-child report father emotional warmth degree is higher than the one-child,intact families students report father emotional warmth is significantly higher than the single parent family and the reorganization of the family of students,students report mother's emotional warmth of family was obviously higher than that of the reorganization of the family.3.Students in the second year of senior high school have higher self-control ability,which is significantly reflected in impulse control,work/study performance and moderate entertainment.Urban students' impulse control ability is obviously better than rural students.4.Students in the first year of high school procrastinate more,which can be significantly shown in both dimensions.5.Self-control is negatively correlated with parental rejection and overprotection,and positively correlated with parental emotional warmth;Self-control is negatively correlated with procrastination;Procrastination is positively correlated with parental rejection and negatively correlated with parental emotional warmth.6.The parenting style exerts an influence on procrastination through self-control,which plays a complete mediating role in parenting style and procrastination.
