A Report On English To Chinese Translation Of Social Science Academic Paper

With the continuous development of the Eurasian integration process and the implementation of China’s the Belt and Road Initiative,the interaction between China and Russia in the Eurasian space has become more frequent,and the academic and cultural exchanges related to it have become increasingly close.The translation of excellent foreign academic articles on social sciences can help domestic readers understand the objective situation and challenges of the development of the Belt and Road Initiative in the Eurasian space,inspire domestic scholars with new research ideas,and provide intelligent support for relevant government agencies and policy makers.The translation practice report takes the 7th World Forum on China Studies conference paper The Conjugation of Russia’s EAEU and China’s EBSR in the Eurasian Economic Space as an example.This report will discuss the problems and explore the solutions in the process of translation and conclude the translation strategies for social science article translation.This translation practice report consists of four parts.The first part is the description of the translation task;the second part is the description of the translation process;the third part discusses the problems and translation strategies that were used in the translation practice from three aspects: vocabulary,sentence and paragraph;the fourth part analyzes and summarizes the translation practice,to provide help and inspiration for the future translation practice of social science articles.
