Situational teaching approach has been recognized and widely used in primary school English classroom teaching.Situational teaching through the use of pictures,multimedia,songs and other means of teaching,the creation of close to the situation of students lives,so that the primary school English classroom for a life vitality,it ignites the students interest in learning English.The purpose of this study is to explore the application of situational teaching in English classroom from the perspective of authenticity,penetration and effectiveness of situation creation and implementation.Based on the theory of constructivism,situational cognition and second language acquisition,this paper uses the methods of literature,questionnaire and classroom observation to go deep into the English classroom of ten primary schools in our county,to understand the situation of the implementation of situational teaching,in-depth analysis of teachers in the implementation of situational teaching problems,and provides effective strategies and ways to implement situational teaching in primary school English classroom,I hope to provide a new perspective for the primary school English teachers to explore the implementation of situational teaching,and provide reference for effective situational teaching in primary school English classroom.The main content of this paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is introduction.Put forward the shortcomings of the traditional English classroom in the context of social development needs,and lead to the background of the study and the purpose and significance of the study,and then introduced the content of this paper,as well as the research method of this article,the use of survey method,literature research method,classroom observation methodand and case study method;The second chapter is literature review,which introduces the research status,concept definition and theoretical basis at home and abroad;The third chapter analyzes the present situation and problems of the situation teaching in primary school English classroom from three aspects:the authenticity,penetration and effectiveness of the situation;The fourth chapter is on the existing problems,combined with the reality of the classroom,from three perspectives:the authenticity of the creation of the situation,the penetration of the creation of the situation,the effectiveness of the creation of the situation,this paper puts forward the effective suggestions of situational teaching in primary school English classroom from three aspects,that is,creating a realistic situation,paying attention to the unity of situation before and after the situation,and strengthening the effectiveness of the situation.The last part is the conclusion,pointing out that this article has made a summary and summary,and pointed out the deficiencies and the direction of follow-up efforts.
