Taking the Chinese quasi-affix "YUAN" and "SHOU" as the research object, the lexicalization process of "YUAN" and "SHOU" is described in stages, and the changes in the productivity of "YUAN" and "SHOU" in different periods are discussed. The research focuses on revealing the evolution of "YUAN" and "SHOU" from monosyllabic to compound words, and then from the evolution of compound words to quasi-affix,and discussing the evolution of meanings in the process of affiliation of "YUAN" and "SHOU".And comprehensively use a variety of energy measurement methods to explore the affixation of "YUAN" and "SHOU" from multiple angles. This paper mainly includes three parts: the first part summarizes the research status of Chinese quasi-affix,explains the research ideas and research significance of this paper and other issues; The second part is the main body of the thesis, which is divided into three chapters.Chapter three discusses the evolution of the quasi-affix of "SHOU".The fourth chapter discusses the similarities and differences of the evolution of the quasi-affix of "YUAN" and "SHOU".The third part is the conclusion. The semantic evolution path of the quasi-affix "YUAN" is roughly as follows: "YUAN" refers to the number of objects, which can then be used to indicate the quota of officials. The early use cases are found in the Western Han Dynasty. The "YUAN" of the Tang Dynasty were used to refer to people, mainly to refer to officials, and occasionally refer to non-official officials. The "YUAN" of the Song Dynasty can be used to refer to various types of person, mainly in the "X + YUAN" structure.By the Qing Dynasty, the affiliation of the "YUAN" had been formed, mainly used to indicate the class name, referring to members of the group or organization engaged in certain work.In the modern Chinese period, the usage of the quasi-affix of "YUAN" has matured."Person" evolved from a monosyllabic word to a suffix. The lexical change is: before the Tang Dynasty, the "X+ YUAN" structure was based on the phrase usage;to the Tang and Song Dynasties, the compound usage and phrase usage of the "X+ YUAN" structure were roughly equivalent, and the class frequency of compound word was higher in frequency than the phrase, but the case frequency of phrase is higher than the compound word;in the YUAN and Ming Dynasties, class frequency and case frequency of the "X+ YUAN" compound are higher than the phrase, indicating the "YUAN" has realized the transition from the free word to the compound word component. The number of "X+YUAN" compound words in the Qing Dynasty has increased greatly, and "YUAN" have formed the use of quasi-affix,which has changed from compound word component to quasi-affix;in modern times, the affiliation of "YUAN" has been further expanded. The productivity is enhanced, and "YUAN" still has the ability to construct new words, indicating that "YUAN" is a living affix. The semantic development of the quasi-affix "SHOU" is: "SHOU" means "the part of the human body above the wrist." In the pre-Qin period, there were usage refer to people, but rare.During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the "SHOU" referring people began to be universally used;in Tang and Song Dynasties, the cases of "SHOU" referring to people increased sharply compared with the previous generation; In the Ming Dynasty, the quasi-affix usage of "SHOU" has been formed, mainly used to indicate the class name, refers to people who occupy a certain position, engage in a certain industry, activities or make some kind of action;in modern Chinese,"SHOU" develops into maturity quasi-affix.The change in lexical terms is:before the Tang and Song Dynasties, the "X+SHOU" structure was dominated by the phrase usage;to the Tang and Song Dynasties, the "X+SHOU" structural formula used more compounds than the phrase use case, and the "SHOU" has realized from free words to compound words. The transformation of the compound word component. In the Ming Dynasty, the number of "X+SHOU" compound words increased greatly, and the "SHOU" has formed the use of quasi-affix,which has changed from the compound word component to the quasi-affix;the Qing Dynasty is in a state of slow development, and the modern is developing rapidly. The number of emerging derivatives formed by "SHOU" has soared, and the "SHOU" have further affixed to the quasi-affix.They have developed into mature quasi-affix.
