The study of Chinese quasi-affix mainly concentrated on the description and analysis of nature, source, scope and grammaticalization.It’s relatively lack of a deep explanation of Chinese quasi-affix which is treated as a independent system on these aspects:the causes,the generation of lexical meaning,the cognitive mechanism of formation,etc.First,based on the definition of quasi-affix,this text will proves the independence of Chinese quasi-affix system and classify all the quasi-affix from four aspects,then,using the cognitive linguistic theory to analyze the causes of quasi-affix,semantic generation and conceptual integration on the basis of definition and classification.In particular,this text will explores the cognitive psychology which is showed in the process when people comprehending and applying the quasi-affix.And, hoping that we are able to have a clear understanding and interpreting about the quasi-affix system finally.In this text,the arrangement of the structure as follows:The first chapter, reviewing the modern Chinese quasi-affix present researches and deficiency.on this basis firstly,then putting forward the necessity and innovation of this study, and finally pointing out the source of corpus and the research methods in this text.The second chapter,putting forward a concise and efficient definition standard of quasi-affix from three aspects as meaning, structure and function, and thus 11quasi-prefix and 41 quasi-suffix are established.Then analyzing the differences of affix and quasi-affix from five aspects, and explaining the reason why quasi-affix can be treated as an independent system,at last,expounding the contemporaneity and open characteristics of quasi-affix system.The third chapter, classifying all quasi-affix that established in last chapter by position,source, meaning and the degree of activity.The fourth chapter, in the perspective of cognition, illustrating that the generation of Chinese quasi-affix is the result of grammaticalization, categorization and theprinciple of economy. Then according to image schema theory of cognitive linguistics,analyzing two cognitive styles that the meaning of quasi-affix generates : metaphor and metonymy.The fifth chapter, based on the conceptual integration theory, analyzing the mechanism and moves of conceptual integration between quasi-affix and it’s composition.In addition, focusing on activation and extraction of information when nominal composition and quasi-affix are blending.The sixth chapter, summarizing the study contents and results of this article and putting forward the problems existing in this study and the prospect of quasi-affix research.
