Social enlightenment is a means of governing the country that rulers of all dynasties attach great importance to.It is also a subtle ideological education that people are subjected to in the process of growing up.How to effectively let social enlightenment play its positive role and eventually form a harmonious and upward social atmosphere is very important in any era.Anqing has a sinple social atmosphere and a strong cultural atmosphere,which is closely related to good social education.Especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Anqing culture developed rapidly and became a local cultural center,so it also developed further in the aspect of social enlightenment.This paper mainly studies the social education of Anqing Prefecture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties from four parts.Firstly,in terms of the purpose and significance of the topic,the society in the Ming and Qing Dynasties developed in all aspects of politics,economy and culture,and people's thoughts changed to some extent.It is very important to effectively govern the society,and social education played a certain role at this time.The rulers of Ming and Qing Dynasties emphasized the important position of Conffucianism in the rule of national ideology.As a famous cultural city with very regional characteristics in Anqing,Buddhism,Taoism,religion and Confucianism culture merged and developed together here,and finally promoted the development of Anqing.So that Anqing has its own content in the aspect of social enlightenment,which is worthy of our study and exploration.At the same time,the study of the social enlightenment in Anqing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties is a reflection of the social life and people's thoughts in Anqing during this period.The cultural characteristics it forms are helpful for us to explore the current social education measures,and have positive significance for strengthening cultural self-confidence.Secondly,it reviews the academic research on the social education in ancient China.Generally speaking,it is rich in content,especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,which provides the author with a lot of writing ideas.Thirdly,there are four chapters in the main body of the paper.The first chapter is an analysis of the cultural and educational policies of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The author believes that the main content of cultural and educational policy in Ming and Qing Dynasty is Confucianism.The Ming government attaches great importance to the important role of school education in the realization of social education.The Qing government highlights the role of Geography in the content of education.The second chapter elaborates on the social education of schools in Anqing area.The school organizations in Anqing area mainly include school palace,academy,sociology and private schools.Anqing's school teaching content mainly includes disciples'rules,Confucian textbooks,etiquette and so on.The third chapter outlines the non-school way of social education in Anqing,which mainly includes four aspects:Oracle preaching,local clans,social celebrities and martyrs'women.Among them,clan power plays an important role in grassroots governance in ancient China,and clan rules and regulations will have a profound and lasting impact on people's enlightenment The fourth chapter emphasizes the role of Buddhism and Taoism culture in the Enlightenment of Anqing.The special geographical environment makes the development and prosperity of Buddhism and Taoism in Anqing.People also gain spiritual support in the process of pursuing religous beliefs.In short,this paper mainly focuses on the content of social education in Anqing Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and interprets historical data in detail,so as to sort out the content of social education in Anqing Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and analyze its role.As far as the form of social enlightenment is concerned,there are both official and folk forms.The official form of social education in Ming and Qing Dynasties was mainly realized through the government's cultural and educational policies and the teaching content of schools.They propagate the mainstream ideology of the country through some cultural and educational policies and decrees.Under the guidance of the national policy,Anqing will take corresponding measures to strengthen the ideological education of the people.But it is mainly the readers who are deeply influenced by this thought.Ordinary people often have little understanding because they are illiterate or the official language is obscure and difficult to understand.Therefore,the form of folk education plays an important role in education.The folk mainly propagate ideas to people through propaganda,religious beliefs,local clans and so on,thus playing the role of enlightenment Buddhism and Taoism are widely distributed in Anqing and have many followers.The ideas of rewarding the good and evil,respecting the old and loving the young advocated by the church have a great influence on the people.Local clans use clan rules and regulations to restrain and guide the development of clan people's thinking,and encourage people to pursue a better life.
