Research On Narrative Structure Of Contemporary Child-themed Chinese Paintings

Chinese paintings with children themes describe the customs and spiritual outlook of different times in a real and delicate way.They are endowed with different ideas and aesthetic forms in different historical periods.They not only have distinct artistic features,but also bear important narrative functions.In addition,it is rare to study the narrative structure of contemporary Chinese paintings with children’s themes from the perspective of the narrative function of Chinese paintings with children’s themes.The innovation of this paper lies in the narrative structure of Chinese paintings on children theme is summarized into two modes: unit and pluralism,and the specific organizational methods of the two narrative structures are analyzed.This paper is divided into four chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the reasons for the topic selection,explains the concept of narration,narrative structure and Chinese paintings with children themes,and describes the general development of ancient Chinese paintings with children themes as well as the rise and development of contemporary Chinese paintings with children themes from the aspects of economy,politics and culture.Chapter 2 unit narrative structure and chapter 3 multiple narrative structure belong to the relationship of juxtaposition,which is the focus of this paper’s theoretical research.Based on the analysis of the representative works of contemporary Chinese paintings on children,this paper sums up two narrative structure models: unit narrative structure and multiple narrative structure,and proves and explains the specific organizational methods of unit narrative structure and multiple narrative structure.The organization method of unit narrative structure includes character unit,theme unit and plot unit.The organizing methods of multivariate narrative structure include multivariate characters,multivariate space and time and multivariate ideas.Chapter 4 children in combination with the proposed theme of the narrative structure of Chinese painting theory,from the aspects of conception,material selection,composition,performance from four aspects to complete the graduation creation,works that characters in the theory of the roller skating boy on the narrative structure and effective verification,make theory put forward more persuasive,reflects the theory of narrative structure in children’s theme of the application of traditional Chinese painting creation value.The thesis puts theory before practice,guides practical creation through theoretical research,and verifies the above theory through practical creation.It is hoped that this study can provide a reference method for the creation of Chinese paintings with children themes and make a prospect for the follow-up research.
