A Study On Construction "Bushi X,S" And Its Relevant Issues

From the synchronic and diachronic perspective,this thesis focuses on “Bushi X,S” the high frequency construction as the research object.It analyses the semantic attributes,syntactic features and pragmatic functions of components in the construction,and explores the evolution path and evolution mechanism of the formation of the construction from the diachronic perspective.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the research.This part also analyses the current situation and existing problems.Meanwhile,the content,basic research,theoretical methods and corpus source are analyzed.The second chapter makes a detailed analysis of the components of the construction “Bushi X,S”.It analyses the grammatical attributes and semantic characteristics of “X” which can enter the construction,summarizes the co-occurrence of “Bushi X” and modal particles,the syntactic and semantic relations of the subsequent sentence “S”,and concludes the construction meaning.The third chapter first classifies “Bushi X” according to the criteria of discourse markers,and then classifies “Bushi wo shuo(ni)” as discourse markers.Then it analyses the syntactic environment of “Bushi X” and the different positions that appear at the beginning and middle of the turn,sums up the leading and continuing functions of the construction,and summarizes its interpersonal interaction function from the perspective of regulating the agent's linguistic power.The forth chapter investigates the diachronic corpus of the construction.Thispaper compares the use cases of “Bu shi X,S” in modern Chinese with that in modern Chinese,and summarizes some evolution rules of its semantics and components.Finally,using the theory of subjectivism and interactive subjectivism,this paper discusses the causes from the perspective of social conventions.The last chapter summarizes the important conclusions of the full text and points out the shortcomings of the research.
