Disease Writing In Mid-Tang Poetry

The object of this study is the poems written by the poets in Tang Dynasty,especially in the mid-Tang Dynasty when they were ill.The so-called "illness" refers to the physical illness of Tang people.Relatively speaking,the "psychological illness" is not the scope of this study.Based on the disease-related poems of the Middle Tang Dynasty,this paper systematically investigates the influence of disease on the aesthetic mentality of the poets of the Middle Tang Dynasty,and the role of the theme and disease in shaping the poet's poetry style.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyses the development of disease poetry in Tang Dynasty and the unique cultural psychology of disease chanting,and briefly analyses the differences between disease poetry in early prosperity,middle and late Tang Dynasty.Combining the number of sick poems with the spirit of the times and the poet's cultural psychology,this paper analyses the poet's psychology by analyzing the background of the times and the poet's life experience.At the same time,the types of diseases which appeared frequently in the poems of diseases in the Mid-Tang Dynasty were counted,and the reasons were analyzed.The second chapter is the ideological implication of the disease poems in the Mid-Tang Dynasty.They include illness-induced fantasy,life consciousness in illness poems,time consciousness and emotional experience in illness.Emotional experience can be divided into family and kinship.The first section elaborates that illness will affect people's daily life,not only will cause physical discomfort or even torture,but also the patients who stay in bed for a long time are more likely to fall into thinking or fantasy.so when creating,they should imagine more scenery.The second section elaborates that illness will make the poet's life consciousness become prominent,and the more thoughtful examination of life will be clearly reflected in the poems related to illness.The third section tells about the influence of disease on the consciousness of time in illness,and the poets'poems in illness often show their experience of self-aging and the feeling of seasonal change.The third chapter discusses the influence of disease on poetry creation.The main influences are as follows:first,the impact of disease on the number of poetry creation;second,enriching the image in poetry collection;third,the impact of disease on the theme of poetry.Chapter Four makes a case study of Bai Juyi's sick poems.Bai Juyi was the poet who chanted most of the diseases in Tang Dynasty,192 of which showed us the rich and unique inner world of the sick.Not only writes the entanglement emotion under the pain,but also through the combination of various artistic techniques,this kind of emotion naturally and truly manifests,rich and profound.The last part of the paper is the conclusion,which mainly summarizes the research conclusions and reflects on the shortcomings of the paper.
