The medical god is the god in charge of medicine in the ancient folk belief system of our country, and has an extremely important position in the eyes of the people.Due to the changes in the medical system and the frequent occurrence of natural disasters, the belief in medicine gods has become more and more sought after in the people during the Qing dynasty. The medical god does not have a single image.Different eras and different regions have different medical gods. There are gods and temples, and people often build temples for the gods of medicine they believe in.Judging from the medical temples recorded in county annals of Henan in the Qing dynasty. The distribution of various medical Shenque temples presents a strong regional character, this shows that different medical gods have different influence zones. The temple fair is a social and cultural phenomenon based on the temple, taking the religious activities as the initial motivation, taking the bazaar activities as the form of expression, integrating the activities of art, amusement, economy and trade and so on.The medicinal trade fair is also a temple fair so that it cannot be separated from folk beliefs,as a result of the particularity of the products, many medicinal fairs sacrifice the gods and medicine-related.There were ten major medicinal trade fairs in Henan in the Qing Dynasty, most of the gods they sacrifice are the most influential medicine gods in the region. This is not an accidental factor, but a profound cultural connection between the Divine belief in Medicine and the Medicinal Society. The medicinal fair integrates the form of the temple fair with the management activities of the pharmaceutical industry and becomes a temple fair motivated by the integration of the interests of the special commercial groups,so it is also a kind of commodity economic activity. With the rapid increase of population in the Qing Dynasty and the development of commodity economy, the trade of medicinal materials is becoming larger and larger, and the medicinal fairs become more and more standardized. However, the main purpose of this kind of commercial and economic activity is the trade of medicinal materials,so it can not be separated from the two major geographical factors: the production of medicinal materials and the transportation conditions. Therefore, medicinal fairs,as an economic and cultural phenomenon, are the result of the co-action of humanistic factors and geographical environment, and they complement each other and are inextricably linked.
