The modern prominent business function, which becomes an important component of the people economic life,spiritual life and the cultural life .The colorful temple fairs in Henan every place, since the formation of the culture of the Central China, have already taken root in the fertile soil from the cities to rural areas. It experiences successively several hundred of years even accumulated last thousands of years, still keeping prosperous vitality and huge attraction up to now, loved by the broad masses. The temple festivals have deep social foundation, and meet the various needs of the people. Therefore, the choice of studying modern temple fairs in Henan has more significance.This paper studies temple fairs in Henan Province mainly in the perspective of history and modern methods , divided into four parts .Part I: Modern temple fairs' distribution and scale in Henan Province. There are temple fairs in the area of distribution and month distribution.This kind pattern of temple fairs' spatial distribution and continuous distribution in time, promoted the rapid development of temple fairs, and strengthened the relation of the farmers and the market. The different types of temple festivals have not the same size. Because the regional economic development and the temple position are different and the God popularity has the difference, temple fairs' scale and radiation will be very big difference.Part II: The main kinds of the participation and modern Henan temple fairs' characteristics. According to the participation of different purposes, we may divide the temple fairs into four kinds. The region of Henan is broad, the temple fairs present the different characteristics.
