A Cognitive Perspective On The Uyghur Translation Of Metaphors In Xi Jinping's Talk About Governing The Country And Governing The Government

Guided by the theory of cognitive metaphor,this paper takes the metaphor in Xi Jinping's Talk about Governing the Country and Government as an example to sort out,analyze and study the Uyghur translation of cognitive metaphor.Using corpus method and on the basis of previous studies,this paper sorts out,summarizes and summarizes the study of metaphor in Xi Jinping's Talk about Governing the Country and Governing the Government,divides it into 10 categories,and analyses the characteristics of each category of metaphor phenomena,and writes out the current situation and the necessity of the study.Then,from a cognitive perspective,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the Uyghur translation of metaphors in Xi Jinping's Talk about Governing the Country and Politics,and explores the methods of Uyghur translation of metaphors.By analyzing and studying the metaphorical sentences in Xi Jinping's Talk about Governing the Country and Politics from literal translation,free translation and transformation,it is found that the metaphors in Xi Jinping's Talk about Governing the Country and Politics Politics are mainly translated literally,and a large number of them are used in U The literal translation method also illustrates the common cultural background,psychological basis and cognitive model of the Chinese and Uyghur nationalities.Secondly,the translation method of free translation,and then the transformation of vehicles.Finally,through the analysis of metaphor examples,it is concluded that context is the most important factor affecting metaphor translation,and that metaphor is a pragmatic phenomenon within the framework of context,which is the basis for identifying and understanding metaphor.Through the analysis and study of the metaphorical sentences in Xi Jinping's Talk about Governing the Country and Governing the Government,it is found that metaphor translation is neither a matter of abstraction nor a matter of literary meaning,but a matter of appropriate translation methods according to specific linguistic and foreign contexts,in order to accurately express the connotation of metaphor.This paper will enrich the theory of metaphor translation in political works by exploring and analyzing the metaphor and its Uyghur translation in Xi Jinping's Talk about Governing the Country and Governing the Government,and provide some references for specific translation practice and teaching.
