Study On Spatial Metaphor In Uyghur And Its Translation Into Chinese

Metaphor,as the most important way of cognition,can be seen everywhere in life.Metaphor can be divided into three categories: structural metaphor,ontological metaphor and orientational metaphor.Location metaphor,also known as spatial metaphor,is a series of metaphorical concepts formed by spatial orientation.Based on the research results of Uyghur spatial metaphor in China,this paper not only analyses the metaphors expressed by Uyghur localities such as "yst,AST ","ald,K Jin ","juqir,TV n ","i,ta,sirit",but also studies and discusses the Uyghur localities with the method of combining enumeration and description.The scope,condition,status relationship,time,order,interpersonal relationship,rank and quantity of spatial metaphor in Uyghur language are discussed.Fields and their causes.Through analysis and demonstration of Uyghur spatial metaphor translation into Chinese,to adopt translation methods.Similar meanings are expressed by the same localizer through literal translation,while the same meanings are expressed by different localizers through translation,while free translation is used when there is no corresponding localizer.This paper consists of an introduction,three chapters and a conclusion.The introduction clarifies the theoretical and practical significance of the topic and the research summary.The research summary summarizes the research on metaphor at home and abroad as well as the research on spatial metaphor at home and abroad,and points out the key points and innovations of this study.The first chapter,Definition and Classification of Metaphor,mainly elaborates the definition and classification of metaphor;the second chapter,Uyghur spatial metaphor.In Expressions,the range,condition,status relationship,time,order,interpersonal relationship,rank and quantity of Uyghur orientation "yst,AST ","ald,K Jin ","juqir,TV n ","i,ta,sirit " are analyzed and discussed.In Chapter Three,the methods of translating Uyghur spatial metaphors into Chinese are listed and demonstrated,including literal translation,translation and free translation.In the conclusion,the main contents of this paper are summarized,as well as the innovations and shortcomings of this paper.In a word,the study of Uyghur spatial metaphor is not only helpful to understand the expression forms of Uyghur spatial metaphor,but also helpful to understand Uyghur language,psychology and values.
