Today in the 21 st century,people’s pursuit of design has changed from material beauty to spiritual beauty.As a reading tool and a spiritual product,books have both social and practical characteristics.Good books should not only have good functionality and meet the needs of readers,but also be able to accurately express the author’s spiritual views.In addition,it also needs to conform to the characteristics of the times and adapt to the development trend of the book market.In this context,the research content of book design and the problems that need to be solved in the design process become more and more complex.This requires designers to think more comprehensively about the relevant elements of book design.Based on the above understanding,this study summarizes the development trend and shortcomings of book design in China at present through analyzing the current situation of book design in China.Then,combining with the author’s own book design research practice,it discusses the development method and value significance of market research in book design,and uses the results of market research to guide the completion of design practice,and finally uses the actual design.The research was validated.This paper elaborates on the research of book design based on market research from two aspects of conceptual cognition and concrete practice.In the introduction part,the paper outlines the feasibility and necessity of introducing market research into book design from four aspects: research background,research methods,research value and significance,and paper framework.By conducting market research on book design,the author collates,summarizes and analyses the obtained research data,finds out the problems that need to be solved urgently in book design,puts forward the scheme and solves the problems,realizes the final design,and further demonstrates the main idea of this paper.This study is divided into four chapters.The first chapter finds out the typical problems in book design through in-depth analysis of the current development of book market in China;the second chapter discusses the general situation of market research,expounds the concept of market research,and analyses the value and significance of market research;the third chapter combines specific research practice to carry out the operation process of book design market research.The fourth chapter uses the actual market research results to carry out the physical design of Book Design Research Record.For the existing problems in the research,design control is used to effectively solve them,so as to achieve the ultimate research purpose.The accompanying drawings of the paper include the written data of the previous research and the statistical map of the research data. |
