An Analysis Of The Structure Of "Mono-syllabic Verb + Yu(于)" In Modern Chinese

As an important part of the structure of "V+ preposition " in modern Chinese,the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " has changed greatly compared with the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " in ancient Chinese.At present,however,there is limited discussion on the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " in modern Chinese.The purpose of this paper is to describe the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " in modern Chinese in detail and to explain the phenomenon as reasonably as possible.The article mainly discusses this through five parts.In the preface part,we will sort out the present situation of the study on the word structure of "Yu" : including the discussion about the origin of the word,the discussion on the structure of "V +Yu" and the discussion on the structure of " Monosyllabic verb+ Yu " by the predecessors;At the same time,it introduces the research method and theory of this paper,as well as the possible innovation of this paper.The second chapter,first defines the scope of this study: from the BCC corpus,we can count the verbs that can not enter the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " and through the analysis of the corpus,we summarize the characteristics of those verbs that cannot enter the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu ";Then the verbs that can enter the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " are analyzed,and their common features are analyzed from syntax,semantics and pragmatics.In chapter three,the grammatical elements of the structure of " Monosyllabic verb+ Yu " in the sentence are analyzed,and then the looming of orientation words in the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " and the selective collocation of the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " and degree adverbs are analyzed.The second part analyzes the appended elements of the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " from syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects.The fourth chapter analyzes the reason why the structure of " Monosyllabic verb +Yu has great vitality in modern Chinese from the angle of prosody,stylistic style and text structure.We mainly analyze why monosyllabic verbs can enter the structure of "Monosyllabic verb + Yu " first from the prosodic point of view.Then,through theanalysis of the number of times that the structure of "V+ preposition " appeared in the play "Lei Yu",the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " is more inclined to enter the written language.Finally,from the perspective of discourse,some the structure of"V+ preposition " can enhance the context correspondence and coherence,and achieve the effect that the syllables of the sentence are neatly identical and the sentence patterns are symmetrical.The fifth chapter mainly discusses the lexicalization of the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu ".First,it explains the premise and mechanism of the structure lexicalization of the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu ",and then synchronously scans the performance of the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu " lexicalization.Then it explores the diachronic evolution of the structure of " Monosyllabic verb + Yu" from the perspective of "Guo Yu" "Guan Yu" "Zhi Yu" "Zhong Yu" in cross-layer structure lexicalization.In the conclusion part,we have roughly summarized the main results of our research and the direction that we still need to make efforts in the future.
