Research On Anhui Education In Late Qing Dynasty

At the end of the Qing dynasty,China experienced"the same situation that has not changed for thousands of years".The signing of the Boxer Protocol increased social unrest and people's hardships.Even enlightened people in society were very disappointed with the Qing government.In order to maintain its own rule and realize the purpose of enriching the country and strengthening the army,the Qing government carried out a series of reform measures from top to bottom.Among them,the education reform was a key reform in the New Deal reform at the end of the Qing dynasty and achieved remarkable results.Ta kung pao,founded in 1902,focused on the education reform in the late Qing dynasty with its keen vision.Based on the news about the education in late Qing dynasty in ta kung pao(especially the education news in Anhui province),this paper sorts out the current situation of education in Anhui province,and discusses the educational achievements and shortcomings in late Qing and Anhui provinces.This paper shows the development of Anhui education in the late Qing dynasty from four parts.The first part is the background of Anhui education innovation in late Qing dynasty.This part focuses on the background of Anhui education development and the measures taken by the central government and Anhui local government to promote education development.The second part is about the types and characteristics of Anhui schools in late Qing dynasty.Based on the Anhui education news in Ta kung pao,this part focuses on the education of primary school,middle school and higher education in Anhui.In the chapter of the kindergarten,the author mainly introduces the principles,process and difficulties of the development of the kindergarten.In the chapter of primary school hall education,the author mainly introduces its development process and rules,and takes Anqing government and Huizhou government as examples to analyze the development degree of primary school hall education in different regions of Anhui in the late Qing dynasty.From the number of schools,the number of students and at the same time in other regions to discuss the comparison.In addition,this paper also explores the deficiencies of primary school education,primary school education,middle school education and higher education,and explores the deficiencies and causes of education development in Anhui at this time by comparing the educational development status in Anhui at the end of the Qing dynasty with that in other provinces.Finally,the epilogue summarizes the thesis and points out the hardships,historical position and influence of Anhui education development in the late Qing dynasty.
