and intervention analysis of British society of "suicide",reveals the changes of the society,reflects the progress of the society as a whole during this period.Foreign scholars have written a lot on this topic,but domestic research is still limited.This paper attempts to discuss the phenomenon of suicide and the intervention environment of the whole society in Britain in the 19th century and to were not always the same.By the 19th century,British suicide took on new characteristics in terms of gender,age and method.Although suicide is a personal phenomenon,it is also a social phenomenon.Therefore,through the analysis of suicide factors such as the number of suicides,methods,and age of different sexes,the following chapters mainly lay a foundation for each subject’s attitude and response to suicide.The general public’s attitude towards suicide is mixed withsadness,evil,strangeness and farce.For those who have power and authority,as well as those who help suffering people in spirit and body,suicide and attempted suicide are problems that must be solved.Efforts to prevent suicide in the 19th century were multifaceted and multifaceted.In this paper,the
