A Research On The Suicide And Crisis Intervention Of College Students

The suicide problem of college students in our country become more and more prominent and arouse the extensive attentions of social and media in recent years. The suicide of college students not only bring great expense to the student and his family, but also bring blight to country and society. Researching on this problem, to reduce and control the suicide of college students. These both have the theory and the practice function for accelerating the stabilization of the society, maintaining the normal order of college's teaching and living, promoting the students' ability.This article use the methods of questionnaire and interview to get cases, and totally get 195 cases which including 93 college in our country. All the cases use the SPSS11.5, a statistic software to establish database, statistic and analyze the cases.The aim of this research is use relative large-scale demonstration investigation to probe into the orderliness of college students' suicide, to analyze the cause of college students' suicide, to bring the countermeasure for preventing the college students' suicide, to constitute college students mental crisis intervention implementary proposals for educational department, to provide reference for college constitution of the beforehand disposition of students suicide invents' emergency.According to the investigation and analysis can find:1,The suicide rate of college student is 1-4 to 100,000, lower than the average social suicide rate (23 to 100,000), so the college students are not the most dangerous person of suicide.2,The schoolgirls' suicide rate is higher than schoolboys', but the schoolboys' success rate of suicide is higher than schoolgirls'.3,The most centre age segment of suicide is 20 to 22, in which 21-years-old is the most concentrative age; and the higher dangerous grade of suicide is sophomore.4,The maximum place students choose to suicide is the dormitory and teaching building.5,The most suicide students choose the extremity method jump from the building to end their lives. The percentage of suicide students which choose jump from the building is 56% of all.6,The time they choose to suicide is: in the beginning or ending of a term, the holiday of "The Labor's Day" and "The National Day"; besides, the concretely time is most in the night.7,The mostly reason of suicide and death is amativeness and sensibility; the second is psychopathy; the third is the pressure of study; and the fourth is the pressure of economy.This research also concretely analyzes the drive and cause of the college students' suicide. And bring forward concretely countermeasure of crisis intervention and prevention of suicide. At the same time, we make up the countermeasures for college students' suicide and implementer method for intervening mental crisis of college students.
