The Suicide Attitude Self-adjusting Research Of College Students With Suicide Idea

As a special group, college students who are the hope of our country and nation generally has received good education. The suicide phenomena among college students not only bring serious losses to the college students themselves, but also to their families and schools, at the same time to the other internal students. The suicide also brings great negative and serious social impact.How to effectively reduce and prevent the college students from suicide, has been a social problem which need urgently to solve for the government, society and universities.This study attempted to explore the relations among suicide attitude, control motivation of suicide attitude and suicidal idea of college students to understand characteristics and disciplinary of the suicide attitude in self-adjusting to the college students who had suicidal idea. In this paper we hope to provide prevention and intervention for suicide and related theoretical basis, and especially for mental health education personnel which was meaningful to decrease the occurrence of college students’ suicide.This study was divided into five parts. Results are as follows:In research one, with the method of grounded theory, we interviewed 11 college students with suicide idea, and coded the interview data by three-level, then according to the results of interview data and three-level coding. The paper analyzed the psychological process of the suicide attitude change and the causes of suicide attitude change, to verify the presence of suicide idea college students with suicide attitude self-adjusting psychological phenomenon as well as different types of control suicide attitude motivation, and suicide attitude motivation can be divided into five types including internal regulation, integrated adjustment, identification regulation, introjection regulation and external regulation.In research two, with questionnaire method to compile control motivation of suicide attitude questionnaire of college students, and the compile control motivation of suicide attitude of five dimensional model was verified.In research three, with double experimental design methods to study the influence from cognitive conflict and control motivation of suicide attitude on the negative emotions of participants, to verify participants who had the high level of self-determination, when they experience the inconformity between attitude and behavior targets, could experience a higher intensity and self-oriented negative emotions and their approval degree of suicidal behavior were significantly reduced. But the participants who had the low level of self-determination, when they experience the inconformity between attitude and behavior targets, didn’t experience a higher intensity and self-oriented negative emotions and their approval degree of suicidal behavior weren’t significantly reduced.In research four, with the double subjects method of experimental design to study the influence from cognitive resource and control motivation of suicide attitude on implicit suicide attitude, to verify implicit suicide attitude of high self-decision participants has no significant differences whether there is cognitive resource or not. However, implicit suicide attitude of low self-decision participants when there is cognitive resource is remarkably lower when there is no cognitive resource.In research five, relation model of control motivation of implicit suicide attitude, suicide attitude, explicit suicide attitude and suicide idea was constructed. To verify explicit suicide attitude play a role of mediator between implicit suicide attitude and suicide idea, and control motivation of suicide attitude play a role of moderator between explicit suicide attitude and suicide idea.This paper referencing relevant theoretical and empirical research results of bias self-adjustment correlation theory, compiled measuring tool of self-adjusting of suicide attitude of participants who had suicidal idea and made exploratory research in the contents. This research for college students who had suicide attitude afforded positive cognitive resources to help them to carry out suicide prevention and intervention method and guidance.
