As a traditional Chinese musical instrument,Guqin has a history of 3,000 years since its creation.In the long years,this ancient musical instrument has gradually formed a set of ideological and cultural systems of its own with the continuous development of history.This paper takes carrying "virtue" by playing the Qin as the main research object,adopts the research method of music historiography,starts from the formation and development of Qin music thought,clarifies the context system of Qin music thought,and gradually unearths the moral implications for the connotation of Guqin.Then the paper analyze how the Guqin to be the carrier of the virtue,and through which way to reflect it,and what important influences on the political society,people's life and education at that time.Combining the contemporary,Qin music thought as one of the excellent traditional Chinese cultural thoughts,and that it how to fit the modern school music education is also a key issue in this paper.The shortcomings of current school music education need us to reflect on it.And we need to pay attention to the inheritance of excellent traditional culture.The educational connotation in Qin music thought is broad and rich.How to integrate the idea into the music education in school is the problem that contemporary education should think about.This paper hopes to provide some help for the integration of traditional culture and school music education by studying the Qin music thought of carrying "virtue" by playing the Qin.
