Objective: Latin dance have the ability, the movement coordination is one of the basic ability, motor coordination ability is the comprehensive performance of human capabilities, including spatial orientation ability, reaction ability, rhythm, balance, accuracy and movement to the ability, this study aims to explore Latin influence on female college students' motor coordination ability. Methods: the subjects of this study were 50 female college students of non-sports specialty in capital university of physical education. The control group did not exercise except for normal sports. In addition to physical education, the experimental group underwent Latin dance intervention twice a week for 90 minutes each time for 12 weeks. Before and after the experiment, the two groups were tested for their motor coordination abilities such as hand and foot cross touch jump, coordination comprehensive exercise,cross-body jump, reaction time, movement time, etc.SPSS 22.0 was used to process the data.Parameter and non-parametric independent sample T test was used for inter-group comparison, and paired sample T test and non-parametric test were used for intra-group comparison. Results:Comparison between groups1.Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the mean of each indicator between the two groups(P>0.05).2.After intervention, the indicators of coordination comprehensive exercise, listening and coordination of hands and feet, and coordination of upper and lower limbs decreased significantly in the experimental group compared with the control group, and the differences between the two groups were very significant(P<0.01).The data of the experimental group were significantly larger than that of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was very significant(P<0.01).The reaction time and exercise time indexes in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group, and there were significant differences between the reaction time indexes(P<0.05)and the exercise time indexes(P<0.01).Comparison in the group1.The experimental group: before and after the intervention, there were significant differences in the indicators of hand and foot cross-touch,cross-body transition, coordination comprehensive exercise, hearing, hand and foot coordination, upper and lower limb coordination exercise, reaction time and movement time before and after the intervention(P<0.01).2.Control group: before and after the intervention, there was no significant difference in the indicators before and after the comprehensive coordination exercise, the coordination of hearing and hands and feet, the coordination exercise of upper and lower limbs and the movement(P>0.05);There were significant differences before and after reaction time and cross-body transition index data(P<0.05).After the hands and feet crossed touch indicators experiment, the data showed a declining state compared with that before the experiment(P=0.013).Conclusion:1.The three-month Latin dance training improved the sports coordination ability of female college students.2.The three-month Latin dance training significantly improved the overall coordination, rhythm ability and reaction ability of female college students.3.The three-month Latin dance training improved the spatial conversion ability and balance ability of female college students.
