| With the deepening of curriculum reform and the introduction of key competence,English,as one of the main courses in the primary education,faces new challenges.How to improve the teaching efficiency and the develop students’ English key competence and learning ability is an urgent problem to be solved in primary school English teaching.Teaching objectives are the direction of teaching,the core of teaching design,and the starting point and destination of teaching activities.Unit integral teaching aims at the development of students’ language ability,cultural thinking,thinking quality and learning ability.This paper elaborates the background and significance of this research from the aspects of English curriculum standards and the present situation of primary school English classroom teaching.This paper defines the concept of "the unit integral teaching objective design" after analyzing and sorting out the situation of related research at home and abroad.This paper introduces the theoretical basis of unit teaching goal design from three aspects: Gestalt psychology,multiple intelligences theory and holistic pedagogy theory.The author also carries on the questionnaire survey about the unit integral teaching objectives design with 50 English teachers from 18 schools in 8 districts of Shanghai,which provides the practical basis for the exploration in teaching practice.From the theories and practices,this study establishes the strategies for the design of the unit integral teaching objectives.Based on these principles and strategies,a case study on the integral teaching objectives of unit 1 of the second module of the second semester of the fourth year of Oxford English was developed.Based on theoretical basis and empirical research,this paper finds common problems in the unit integral teaching objectives design of primary school English through literature research,interview survey,experimental research,teaching case analysis and other research methods,and it also classifies and summarizes these problems,analyzing the reasons for the formation of these problems.This paper also explores a series of methods and strategies for the unit integral teaching objectives design of primary school English teaching.I sincerely hope that this paper can provide some theoretical and methodological guidance for primary school English teachers,so that they can improve the awareness of unit,and better the design of unit teaching objectives,then improve the efficiency of teaching. |
