Sociocultural adaptation is an important problem faced by the new generation of migrant workers.According to the research at home and abroad,there is a significant correlation between identity and sociocultural adaptation.However,most of the previous studies on identity and sociocultural adaptation have explored the relationship between internal group identity and sociocultural adaptation,and the relationship between external group identity and sociocultural adaptation,and the study of sociocultural adaptation has not been carried out from the perspective of the internal consistency of identity objects.According to previous studies,intergroup contact and out-group trust have a direct effect on sociocultural adaptation.However,the relationship between intergroup contact and out-group trust among the new generation of migrant workers has not been studied.As the main force in the process of urbanization,the new generation of migrant workers’ sociocultural adaptation level represents the degree of citizenization and accelerates the development of urbanization.Therefore,it is great value to analyze the characteristics of sociocultural adaptation of the new generation of migrant workers with different identity types and to study the mediating effects of intergroup contact and out-group trust on the sociocultural adaptation of the new generation of migrant workers with different identity types.In this study,406 new-generation migrant workers were surveyed by IAT implicit measurement and questionnaires.The results of multivariate analysis of variance,correlation analysis and intermediary effect analysis were as follows:(1)There are significant differences in demographic variables in the sociocultural adaptation of new-generation migrant workers,which are mainly manifested in the following aspects: sociocultural adaptation of new-generation migrant workers;There should be significant differences at the position level,which is manifested in that the level of sociocultural adaptation of middle-level managers is significantly higher than that of grass-roots managers and basic employees,and the order of sociocultural adaptation of different position levels is in the order of high to low: senior managers,middle managers,basic employees and grass-roots managers(2)There are significant differences in the sociocultural adaptation of the new generation of migrant workers with different identity types.The main manifestations are as follows: the sociocultural adaptation level of the new generation of migrant workers with type B is higher than type C,and the sociocultural adaptation level ofthe new generation of migrant workers with type C is higher than type A,and sociocultural adaptation level of the new generation of peasant laborers with different identity types is in the order of high to low : type B,type C,type A(3)On the basis of controlling demographic variables,the quality of intergroup contact and out-group trust play a chain mediation role in the relationship between type A and sociocultural adaptation;the quantity of intergroup contact and out-group trust play a chain mediation role in the relationship between type A and sociocultural adaptation;the quality of intergroup contact and out-group trust play a chain mediation role in the relationship between type B and sociocultural adaptation;the quantity of intergroup contacts and out-group trust play a chain mediation role in the relationship between type B and sociocultural adaptation.;the quality of intergroup contacts and out-group trust play a chain mediation role in the relationship between type B and sociocultural adaptation.
