Intergroup attribution bias refers to in-group bias and out-group derogatory phenomenon between the groups,which depends on the relationship of groups.And out-group trust as an important concept of social psychology,plays an significant role in the development of intergroup relationship.In recent years,medical level improved,but the doctor-patient relationship presents a more intense trend.For this reason,exploring doctor-patient intergroup attribution bias and intergroup trust is of significance and application value.At the same time,the indirect contact methods,which improve intergroup trust,which can effectively reduce inter group attribution and improve intergroup relations.Three studies were includes which related to general patients,doctors and hospitalized patients were chosen as subjects in present research.The general patients,as the core object in the research,were used indirect contact interventions to improve physician trust and reduce general patients' intergroup attribution bias.Study one using questionnaire survey to explore intergroup attribution bias and out-group trust in doctors and general patients.The results showed that both doctors and general patients have significant intergroup attribution bias,and physician trust of general patients can significantly reduced the intergroup attribution bias of them.Study two using questionnaire survey to explore intergroup attribution bias and out-group trust in doctors and hospitalized patients.The results showed that:1.Both doctors and hospitalized patients have significant intergroup attribution bias,physician trust of hospitalized patients can significantly reduced the intergroup attribution bias of them.2 Doctors with high quality and high frequency of contact with the patient have stronger intergroup attribution bias,but high quality and high frequency patients can reduce their intergroup attribution bias.3 The patients intend to trust physicians with higher quality of direct contact with them.In third study,the patients were divided in three experiment groups for exploring the effect of imagine contact and extended contact on intergroup attribution bias.The results showed that:1 imagining intergroup contact group and the extended intergroup contact group had a certain decrease on intergroup attribution bias.2 Indirect contact can improve the physician trust and it can significantly predict the reduction of intergroup attribution bias.
