Research On Drama Works Of Liu Qingyun

Born in Renyin Year of the Qing Dynasty(1842),Liu Qingyun,styled Guxiang,was a distinguished female dramatist in Meizhou,Jiangsu(now LianYungang)whose infant name was Guanyin,and she died in Yimao year(1915)of the Republic of China.Qingyun's natural disposition was intelligent,deeply doted on her parents,and had accepted the good cultural education because of rich family circumstances.Living a beatific life after marrige,they studied and created together.Qingyun associated with good mentors under the influence of her husband,polished by which Qingyun devoted herself to literary creation.The main research of this paper focuses on drama works of Liu Qingyun so as to make the comprehensive annotation to herself and her works.Probing into correlation between the life complex and literary creation of authors deeply and digging into the underlying literary value of her drama works,the paper draws a conclusion to the spread and influence of her drama works.It first briefly discusses the life,extraction,travels and dramatic works of Liu Qingyun,whose life experiences,spiritual outlook and drama condition were unfolded clearly.Secondly,in order to dredges up the value and meaning of the creation of drama works,it researches the technigues of Liu's drama works in three aspects:narrative art,narrative structure,romanticism and time-space-free.Finally,it classifies and summarizes the theme and characters of twelve works.Meanwhile,it discusses the artistic style of Liu's drama works form the language,Guan mu and other aspects.It also evaluate Liu's place in history felicitously.
