Research On The "Overseas" Theme Drama In The Late Qing Dynasty(1840-1911)

The theme of "overseas" in the drama is one of the important phenomena of modern drama creation in the late Qing Dynasty.Under the background of the literary revolution,"drama reform movement" puts forward a new theory,calling for creative changes and breakthroughs."Overseas" theme,the creation in the field of drama,is the manifestation of the overall social consciousness in "seeking for the outside".This paper,based on mastering the presses of historical drama data in the late Qing Dynasty,combining and integrating the drama of "overseas" theme,is trying to analyze the existence form in multiple perspectives.Observing the value orientation of the drama in the late Qing Dynasty,and discussing "overseas" theme drama in depth,such for the sampling methods,narrative modes and the construction of tragedy.Meanwhile,in the interaction of various internal and external reasons,considering the phenomenon of traditional Chinese drama whose writing style is vague in the late Qing Dynasty.In addition,the process of creating the image of "overseas" drama,also is the process of construction in"overseas" cognition constantly,which is to achieve itself and reshape the political functions of China's national image.Finally,in the late Qing Dynasty,the creation of"overseas" theme drama,which belongs to the end of development of modern drama.Under the impact of Chinese and foreign literary forms,the drama itself is faced with the reality of reforming and declining.
