With the development of traditional feudal society in China,different cultures have been formed in different regions.The most typical cultural difference is in the north and south.Zhejiang and Shandong Provinces are typical with unique north and south features.For enterprises,social capital is an intangible resource that can be used based on the relationship between networks,trust,and cognition in the internal and external environment.Under the influence of local culture,the formation of such resources is different and the effect on business performance is not the same.This paper takes "regional culture-enterprise resources-business performance"as the research path,and aims to explore the inherent relationship between regional culture and social capital,social capital and business performance.Because regional culture and social capital are difficult to measure,in order to make this study more reliable and more accurate,we finally selected Haier,Zhangyu Weichai Company and Wanxiang and Zhengtai,and Hailiang company summed up the relationship between regional culture,social capital and business performance in Shandong Province and Zhejiang Province.By summarizing the characteristics of regional culture in Shandong and Zhejiang Province,combined with the cultural roots,social capital,resource dependence,transaction costs,and relationship marketing theoretical views,the six companies in Shandong Province and Zhejiang Province have formed social capital in different regional cultures.After inductive,deductive and comparative analysis,it was found that:First,in the enterprise,under the influence of different cultures,Shandong Province and Zhejiang Province have affected employees to form a unified cognition,internal sense of belonging and satisfaction,to expand the relationship resources and accumulate internal social capital,thus affect the productivity of employees,promote production and create performance.Second,outside the enterprise,in the aspect of production cooperation,under the influence of the regional culture that advocates the spirit of group and the creative spirit of creation,Shandong enterprises are good at expanding the breadth of social capital and improving the production capacity,while Zhejiang enterprises are learning from others under the spirit of open mind and pragmatic pragmatism,the relationship is closer and social capital accumulates,improving the ability of enterprises to innovate and affecting gross profit;in the aspect of customer relations,under the cultural spirit of harmony and responsibility,Shandong enterprises are good at forming close relationships with customers,thus accumulating social capital,enhancing brand reputation and affecting income.Zhejiang enterprises are mainly formed with customers under the open spirit and the pragmatic cultural accumulation of the world.Extensive contact accumulates social capital from breadth,open up markets,and promote income;in terms of government relations,Zhejiang Province has gradually formed a close relationship in the process of'development to establish a good image and obtain additional income,Shandong Province Enterprises pay more attention to the government Capital,usually associated with the government from the early years,long-term responsibility makes high levels of social capital of trust,getting more support and recognition.Third,under the guidance of a good regional culture and spirit,the social capital accumulated by enterprises in Shandong Province and Zhejiang Province will promote their financial performance by influencing business activities.In the process of constructing social capital,north and south enterprises can learn from each other,promote enterprises to form more abundant social capital,and promote the improvement of business performance.From the perspective of regional culture,the differences in the construction of social capital are studied,which provides a theoretical and practical significance for the enterprise to adapt to regional culture,regulate corporate behavior,conduct orderly management,and improve performance.
