Research On The Image Of Saimts In Laozi

Lao zi,as the founder of Taoism,expounded his unique views on Taoism through Dao Dejing,which laid a foundation for the development of Taoism.However,"sage,"appears only next to,"Tao" in lao zi,which is the character carrier of "Tao".On the one hand,it reflects the literary value of the image of the sage in laozi.On the other hand,the thoughts of laozi can be understood more systematically.This paper starts from the point to the surface,through the research method of induction and contrast,starting from the basic literature,taking the original Canon as the basis,referring to the notes of the past dynasties,combining with the philosophical thoughts of laozi,makes a systematic study of the saint from the perspective of literature.This paper is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction,which explains the purpose and significance of the research,explains the scope of research methods and innovations,and summarizes the research on the image of saints.The second part goes back to the source,through the interpretation of the original meaning of "saint" and "saint",combining the meaning of "saint" and"saint"in the book of history and the book of songs,to explore the original meaning of the image of the saint.The third part is a systematic study of the literariness of the image of the sage in laozi.In laozi,the image of the sage is not a single expression,and the change of appellation is also the literary expression of the image of the sage.In terms of structure,the image of the sage plays an important role in the whole book from chapter to chapter.The fourth part adopts the method of induction and comparison to analyze the connection and difference between laozi and the images of saints in pre-qin zhuzi literature and historical biography literature,explore the evolution process of saints from intangible to tangible,from simple to specific,and find out the unique literary value of laozi’s images of saints.The fifth part mainly discusses the in:fluence of the image of the sage in laozi on the shaping of literary image and the expression of emotion in later generations from the aspects of literary significance and value.The ideal personality represented by the sage is constantly interpreted and remolded by later generations of literati,forming a unique literary model in the history of Chinese literature.The image of the sage in laozi is not only of great significance and value in philosophy,but also plays an irreplaceable role in literature.The study of the image of the sage in laozi can not only deeply understand its ideological core,but also systematically understand the image of the sage in pre-qin literature from point to line to plane,and better grasp the multiple connotations of the word "sage".At the same time,the sage as a literary image has a profound influence on the later generations of literati’s life and literary creation.In a word,studying the image of the sage in laozi is the key to understanding the system of the Taoist sage and the basis to interpret the image of the sage in ancient Chinese literature and culture.
