A Study On The Interaction Between Poems And History:Cases From Zuo Zhuan,Maoshixu And Shijing

Poetries convey emotions.It is the expression of the immediate mood of the ancestors,is the combination of thousands of scenes in daily life and etiquette norms of social systems,and is a historical existence.The integration of Shijing(The Book of Songs)is to meet the requirements of the Zhou Dynasty ritual system.After extensive application and circulation,Shijing gradually becomes the object of independent research,thus forming annotated learning and the Confucian classics studies,which still have no decline until today.As for Zuo Zhuan,it mainly reflects the historical situation of the Spring and Autumn Period,also highlighting the fashion of using poetries(including the creation of poetries)at that time;The Maoshixu(including"The Major Preface"and"The Minor Preface"),as a manuscript that the scholars interpret Shijing,is attached to the corresponding historical situation.Therefore,history can be used as a bridge for connection and comparison between Zuo Zhuan and Maoshixu.Zuo Zhuan and Maoshixu can be regarded as the hub for studying the development of Shijing.The above is the research ideas of the interaction between poetry and history of Zuo Zhuan,Maoshixu and Shijing.The full thesis is divided into six parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The Introduction:First of all,by analyzing historical factors contained in Shijing itself,the relationship between Shijing and Zuo Zhuan,and the connection between history and Maoshixu,explaining the origin and premise of proving history with poetry and explaining poetry with history;Secondly,reviewing the existing research on Zuo Zhuan,Maoshixu and Shijing;Third,pointing out the problems in the previous research and drawing the meaning of research in this paper;Fourth,clarifying the basic concepts and main issues involved;Fifth,explaining the basic ideas and research methods of this article.Chapter One:"The Fusion of Poetry and History in Zuo Zhuan and Maoshixu"is divided into two sections:exploring the different meanings and characteristics of Shijing used in specific and historic narrative occasions described by Zuo Zhuan;Maoshixu explaining the meaning of Shijing and outlining the relevant political purposes,historical context and content characteristics.Chapter Two:"Mutual Verification of Poetry and History in Zuo Zhuan and Maoshixu"is divided into two sections:explaining the similarities and differences in the subject matter and usage between the poems used in Zuo Zhuan and the poems interpreted by Maoshixu;mutual supplement and verification of Maoshixu and Zuo Zhuan in historical facts and author creationChapter Three:"Zuo Zhuan and Maoshixu Are Important Nodes in the Development History of Shijing" is divided into two sections:the"Zhi"(ambition)expressed in poems used in Zuo Zhuan and the"Li"(theory)explained in Maoshixu are the vertical transformation of "Qing"(emotions)in Shijing;in the process of using the poems in the history of Zuo Zhuan and interpreting the subject matter in Maoshixu,the connotation of"Bi"and"Xing"in Shijing is expanded horizontally.Chapter Four:"The Historical Significance of Zuo Zhuan and Maoshixu for the Development of Shijing"is divided into two sections:the usage of poetries in the record of Zuo Zhuan promotes the preservation,dissemination and meaning expansion of the poems in Shijing;the interpretation of poetry in Maoshixu is of great significance to the study of Shijing in the fields of Confucian classics,literature and society.Conclusion:making a general summary of the full text study,and highlighting the conclusions and meanings that can be determined.
