As important component in the history of thought in Warring States,Qin and Han Dynasties,Huang Lao Taoism is of great significance and research value.Relevant researchers must respond to some questions in the process of research,that is,why Huang Lao Taoist thought became the mainstream trend of thought in the early Han Dynasty,why did Huang Lao Taoist thought withdraw from the mainstream stream trend of thought,how did Huang Lao Taoist thought evolve to become the mainstream trend of thought in the early Han Dynasty,and how did it evolve to gradually withdraw from the mainstream trend of thought.But because of Huang Lao Taoist thought comparing with Confucian classics,the lack of a certain systematicness,and the particularity of ancient literature classics and ideological connotations,which makes it difficult for researchers to verify the author and era of a single text through exact empirical research,and to understand and grasp the true features and evolution process of an academic history in a single document,and which brings difficulties for researchers to respond to the above questions properly.Through the ideological interpretation of the book,we may be able to bring some useful enlightenment to the response to this problem.In terms of research ideas,we should firmly grasp the clue of ideological history,stand in the perspective of the development history of Taoism thought of Huang Lao in the Pre-Qin Dynasty,regard"Heguanzi" as a work with relatively complete ideological and logical system,divide it into three specific levels:cosmology,political theory and military thought.And comb important concepts with the help of a method of pursuing ideological integrity.Through the comparative study of the relevant literature,we can fully understand its ideological characteristics and explore its position in the history of the development of Taoism.As a work of Huang Lao Taoist school,the complexity of his thoughts reflects Huang Lao Taoism’s thinking about the times,reflects the compatibility and inclusiveness of Huang Lao Taoism,and reflects the transformation of Taoism to a political philosophy and monarchy political system with strong realism and operability.However,the strong critical spirit of Taoism towards reality and the transcendental consciousness and free spirit derived therefrom,as the indelible and unique inherent root of Taoism,contradict Huang Lao Taoism’s ideological proposition in extreme cases because of Huang Lao Taoism’s characteristic of"compromise”to reality,and Huang Lao Taoism’s ideological proposition will lose the characteristics of Taoism(originality),Where,become"shallow"words.The complicated thought and conflict of content in "Heguanzi" are the contradiction between the pursuit of freedom and the strong spirit of accession to the society by Huang Lao Taoism,which is distinct appeared in a single work.The change of the situation and the thought of "Heguanzi" are closely related,which is especially evident in its idealistic political theory.The desire for unification of the world is the most important basis of the ideal political theory of "Heguanzi".In the analysis of the fundamental reasons for the failure of the great powers in the Warring States Period,"Heguanzi"puts forward some specific and definite criteria and solutions to solve the problems,namely,the social ideal political theory of following the natural law,emphasizing law and selecting talents.Its ideological program is the rule of harmony between natural and man centered on "Ye Xing"and"Jiu Dao”,from which we can find the close relationship between"Heguanzi"and other scholars.The highest basis of his political theory is the cosmological system established by reinterpretation of the concepts of Tao,Qi and Tian.In terms of concrete measures of political practice,"Heguanzi"constructs specific political systems such as "Wu Zheng"under the principle of Taoist inaction.Facing the unified demands of the end of the Warring States Period,"Heguanzi" belongs to the Huanglao School,but influenced by the Military strategist’s thought of power and tactics in the situation,it attaches importance to both Tao and military affairs,considers that military affairs are critical to the safety and survival of a country,and emphasizes the application of "Tao has law " at the strategist level.But it is fundamentally different from the Military strategist,who pays attention to elaborating military theory,while"Heguanzi" focuses on the internal political problems of the country and the serious consequences of internal corruption on the military.
