| With the vigorous development of China’s film industry,the types of films are constantly en riched.Among them,music IP films developed and produced by popular music works have attracted much attention.From the first music IP film my deskmate in 2014 to the end of 2018,about 10 films of the same type,such as gardenia and later we,have been released and achieved good box office results.At the same time,fan culture also shows new characteristics in the new media environment.The development of film industry and IP development cannot be separated from the driving force of fan economy.This paper takes music IP movies as the analysis sample,investigates the specific role of fans in the spread of music IP movies,reevaluates the value of fans and the realistic problems in rational understanding,in order to promote the healthy development of music IP movies.Based on the case analysis and in-depth interviews,this paper analyzes the motivation of music IP film development and finds that the attitude and behavior of fans have directly or indirectly promoted the content,mode of communication and communication effect of music IP movies.effect.First of all,the aesthetic preferences of fans determine the theme of the film,the core of the story and the choice of actors.Secondly,the film producers will adopt a more diversified communication method for the needs of fans,including the dissemination of new and old media on the Internet and the dissemination of offline activities.And the spread of film derivatives;third,the fans’ active participation in the film communication process and "poaching works" enhance the film’s communication effect,and the fans’ various ways of viewing also prompted the producers to change their distribution thinking and innovative distribution strategies.Although the fan culture has played an important role in promoting the spread of music IP movies,at the same time,there are also problems in which the producers over-match the fan preferences and lead to the homogenization of the film content.Disagreement and even the emergence of public opinion,the irrational consumption of fans caused a deep problem of the box office and word-of-mouth gap.Faced with these problems,the production of music IP movies should return to the content standard,avoid the homogenization of themes,strengthen the management of the fan’s public opinion field,prevent the network from fighting,create a good communication environment,guide the fans to rational consumption,and comprehensive evaluation indicators.The establishment and implementation of the system promotes the sustainable development of music IP movies. |
