Shanghai Jiaotong University was founded in 1896,when it was named Nanyang College.For more than 120 years,the school has established a "first-class university" as its tenet,constantly improving the talent training system,and contributing irreplaceable power to the development of Shanghai,the rapid development of China,and the progress of world civilization.In this paper,the current problems and needs of Shanghai Jiaotong University need to build a new school history museum,and use Gestalt perception as a theoretical tool to conduct research on the design of the Shanghai Jiaotong University New School History Museum.The full text is divided into two parts,the first part is the design work display;the second part is the design report,including the following four reports:Design demand report,from the needs of social development-the status quo of the domestic school history museum,summed up the status quo of the school history museum,mainly focused on the design of the exhibition has not attracted attention,and the school history museum design and the current stage of social development are two aspects;the state and the school side The superior planning reflects the importance of building a school history museum;in the field analysis of the project,the importance of the history of the Shanghai Jiaotong University is extracted,and the history of the Shanghai Jiaotong University’s old school history hall has not met the current stage of school development.The status quo of the new school history museum is urgently needed.The theoretical research report,through literature research,understands the research status of the school history museum in the field of design,and uses the gestalt perception theory to guide the design study of the Shanghai Jiaotong University History Museum.The following conclusions are drawn:First,the exhibition design study is the school history museum.The weak link of related research;Secondly,the theory of the bottom line of Gestalt perception,the principle of grouping,and the principle of simplification as the theoretical guidance,deducing the design of the exhibition of the school history museum;third,drawing the specific design to guide the exhibition of the history of the Shanghai Jiaotong University Strategy.The design process report,first of all,under the guidance of the "strategy" in the previous article,combined with the specific situation of Shanghai Jiaotong University,establishes the design concept of "salvation,drinking water source",the design focus of "one line,four mains,one integrated three lines".Under the guidance of Gestalt perception:the spatial segmentation in the exhibition space,the creation of the landscape and the Austrian landscape,and the layout of the moving lines are separately designed;the colors,elements,materials and light effects in the exhibition style are extracted separately.;to summarize the relationship between the bottom and the bottom of the layout.On this basis,an innovative viewer perception feedback plan is added to simulate the visitors,draw a perceptual map,and extract the key feedback of perception.Finally,the detailed design process is derived under the guidance of the previous article.Design research summary,guided by Gestalt perception theory,through research,combing,analyzing,refining and transforming school history and culture,deepening and disseminating the ancient and modern features of Shanghai Jiaotong University,and arranging from exhibition space,exhibition style and facade respectively The three angles of performance together constitute the exhibition.The design of this project fills the gap of the school history museum of Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiaotong University,and establishes a more complete historical history of Shanghai Jiaotong University.And by refining the viewer’s perceptual feedback,it conveys the design focus to the viewer more accurately,and provides a reference for the case study of the similar school history museum and the museum with Gestalt perception as the guiding theory.
