Due to the improvement of productivity and the development of science and technology, media technology has become an extension of the senses of each of us,and it has always affected people's perception and aesthetic experience. When media technology has penetrated into our lives in all aspects, our focus cannot only be on new communication phenomena, but also need deep insights into these phenomena,so we need aesthetic support. This article selects the Toronto School as the research object, and takes the aesthetic issues revealed in its media perception as the main research content, focusing on exploring the aesthetic ideas in the school's media concept, and providing a new research perspective for the common development of media and aesthetics. From the perspective of the media, from the perspective of aesthetics, the problem of perception can inject rich aesthetic connotations into media theory and increase its theoretical depth. As far as aesthetics is concerned, from the perspective of media, the issue of perception can provide a new dimension and a new perspective for aesthetic research and broaden its research field. Therefore,an aesthetic examination of the issue of media perception has become a common need for the development of media science and aesthetics. The full text is composed of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. The introductory part mainly combines the interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and multi-disciplinary academic backgrounds of contemporary aesthetics to explore the aesthetic foothold of the Toronto School's media perception and the research status and value of this issue. The first chapter divides the sensory bias of humans according to the development of media technology, and discusses the influence of media on the changes of human perception from three periods. As the core point of this article, the second chapter mainly explores the influence and shaping of media on the aesthetic perception mode, which is explained in two aspects. One is the mobilization of time and space, and the other is the transformation of technology, both of which are important factors for perceiving the aesthetic tendency and acting on the human spiritual world. The third chapter discusses the theoretical and practical significance of the Toronto School's media perception aesthetics, and explores the warning significance of technical determinism to the aesthetic value orientation,in order to explore a new dimension of aesthetic research. In the process of understanding communication and aesthetics,we can find that there are similarities between perceptual media and aesthetic perception. The Toronto School's media perception theory captures the inherent correlation between media perception and aesthetic activity, and presents a strong Aesthetic color.
