Research On Pronouns In Linyi (Yishi) Dialect

Linyi County is located in the southwestern part of Shanxi Province and is now part of Yuncheng City.Its dialect belongs to the Haizhou sub-dialect of the Fenhe section of Zhongyuan Mandarin.Linyi was formed by merging past Linjin County and Yishi County in1954.Due to the historical reasons of long-term separation and management,the dialect in Linyi was roughly divided into Linjin section represented by Linjin dialect and Yishi section represented by Yishi dialect.This thesis takes the pronouns in the Yishi dialect as the research object,which strives to carry out a comprehensive and detailed description with a synchronic and diachronic comparative analysis,and then summarizes the characteristics of the pronouns in the Yishi dialect.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is"Introduction."This part mainly introduces the geography,history and dialect of Linyi County,the current research status of the topic,the purpose,significance and research methods of the topic,as well as the source and style of the corpus.The second part is"Personal pronouns in the Yishi dialect".This part firstly introduces the basic forms of personal pronouns in the Yishi dialects,and then describes their usage.The personal pronouns in the Yishi dialect are divided into three-faced pronouns and other pronouns.Among them,the three-faced pronouns can be singular or plural.In the description process,we proceed in the order of singular three-faced pronouns,plural three-faced pronouns,and other personal pronouns.Through description,we conclude some characteristics of the personal pronouns in the Yishi dialect.For example,the singular three-faced pronouns have different tones in different grammatical positions.When there are no structural auxiliaries,the singular and the plural three-faced pronouns at the position of the attributive often appear as the same form.The first person pronoun“咱”and other personal pronouns“伢”can be flexibly used.The third part is"Demonstrative Pronouns in the Yishi dialect"This part introduces and describes the expressions and basic usages of the demonstrative pronouns in the Yishi dialect.The demonstrative pronoun in the Yishi dialect is a kind of dichotomous system and is rich in pronunciation.Demonstrative pronouns in the Yishi dialect can often be used as structural auxiliaries,and also can be collocated directly.This part describes and analyzes these two special usages of demonstrative pronouns in the Yishi dialect.In the end,the author summarizes the characteristics of the demonstrative pronouns in the Yishi dialect.The fourth part is"Interrogative pronouns in the Yishi dialect".This part mainly introduces the basic forms and usages of the interrogative pronouns in the Yishi dialect,and also discusses the etymology of the interrogative pronouns“□[suo³¹]”and“作么”.In the end,the characteristics of the interrogative pronouns in the Yishi dialect are summarized.The fifth part is"Conclusion."This part summarizes the main features of the pronouns in the Yishi dialect on the basis of the previous description,and finally points out the deficiencies of this thesis and the direction of its efforts.
