Nowadays,the trend of globalization is obvious.The role of English in the process of globalization is becoming more and more important.In the context of the new curriculum standards,there are some problems in the teaching process of junior high school English:First of all,students lack the autonomy of learning.Secondly,students lack good listening,speaking,reading and writing ability.Third,students’ English comprehensive application ability is low,which can not meet the needs of social development for comprehensive talents.In order to effectively solve these problems,we adopt the teaching method of junior high school English dictation and the Internet combined teaching mode,namely "Internet plus whole to write" dictation teaching method requires students in the whole process of taking dictation dictation discourse understanding as the basis,record the key words and sentences,Then the students discussed the dictation in the form of a group.It reconstructs the dictation content.It covers four skills,listening,speaking,reading and writing.At the same time,the Internet allows junior high school students to take advantage of their spare time to learn English at any time.This teaching model,based on the theory of input and output,allows students to learn English before and after class on the Internet,in order to help students improve their autonomy,improve students’ ability to listen and write,and improve their comprehensive application.This new teaching mode includes pre class,middle and after-school stages.In the pre class stage,teachers provide relevant learning resources to students according to their teaching goals,and students use the Internet to find relevant background knowledge and language knowledge,which can increase the input of language.After that,online dictation is taken.At the stage of the class,the teacher divides the students into groups,so that they can discuss them in groups and complete the reconstruction of dictation.Students regroup content through WeChat,QQ and other new media platforms.For this stage of the problems,teachers and students online communication and discussion.In the after-school stage,students practice writing exercises to improve their application ability.Teachers apply after class assessment to test the content of learning,and adjust the teaching content properly so that it is more in line with the needs of students’ learning.In order to test the effectiveness of the new teaching model,The researchers selected two natural classes in grade eight of Qiushi middle school in Hohhot as the research objects to conduct an empirical study.One class is selected as the experimental class by the pretest,and the other is a control class naturally.The experiment is carried out for one semester and the end of the semester.Finally,SPSS data analysis system is used to compare and analyze the experimental data of two classes.At the same time,in order to understand the students’ views and attitudes towards the combination of the Internet and the holistic dictation,the experiment also adopted the questionnaire method and carried out the related data analysis.The researchers summarize these data and draw conclusions.After a semester of experimental teaching,the researchers found that the students’ autonomous learning ability has been improved and the ability to read and write is also improved.The students can better use the acquired language knowledge through the holistic dictation teaching method,and thus the ability to apply English is also improved.
