The Construction Of The Spiritual Home In Oe Kenzaburo's Novels

Oe Kenzaburo,a famous modern Japanese writer,started his career with the humanitarian spirit from the moment he entered the literary world.In many of his novels,the themes are all about religious questions,spiritual introspection and soul exploration as the theme,and he wondered why such a serious social and spiritual problem can happen in Japan at the end of the century.He tried to find a way to solve the soul problem of the Japanese from the literary world.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,main part,and conclusion.It is analyzed and expounded by layers of progressive logic.The introduction summarizes the research status of Oe Kenzaburo,and introduces and analyzes Oe Kenzaburo's literary creation procession and creative ideas.The first chapter "The return of the spirit from Tokyo to Shikoku".Firstly,according to Antic Work,Lavish are the Dead,Feeding,The Football Team in Wan Yan's the First Year,Burning Green Trees,Somersault,and other works,the author expounds the characteristics of the era background and surroundings behind Oe's representative works in each period.And the author analyzes the present situation and development stage of postwar Japanese city.Trying to find out the reasons that Oe changed his focus from the city to his hometown.Secondly,from the perspective of spatial narratology,the author analyzes the reasons and manifestations of the original literary landscape of Oe's hometown.The second chapter "Spiritual demand in introspection",Based on the conclusions of the previous chapter,the author analyzes Oe Kenzaburo's famous works,Our Time,Tardy Young People,Sexual People,Burning Green Trees and Somersault,to find out the deep social and historical reasons of why new religions were so popular in Japan.And then to excavate the introspection of the author in his works.The third chapter �The spiritual breakthrough and transcendence after the 'somersault'�.Based on the previous two chapters exploring the issues and elaborating problems,in this chapter,the author will further analyses that Oe Kenzaburo tried to find ways to solve the problems of spirit blank from The Football Team in Wan Yan's the First Year,Burning Green Trees,Somersault,Two Hundred Years Children,To New Generation,and other works.These two ways are the marginal culture and the new generation of the times.And we finally concluded that Oe Kenzaburo tried to rescue Japan from a litterateur's viewpoint by calling on the new generation to focus on the marginal culture and build a humanitarian faith.
