Research On The Diplomatic Language Of The New Year Book Since Jianyan

This paper takes the New Year Book since Jianyan as a closed corpus,using quantitative and qualitative,the combination of lexicological.rhetorical and historical methods to make a classification and investigation on diplomatic language in the volume of the New Year Book since Jianyan,and make a selective analysis on the expression of some diplomatic languages.The paper is divided into the following five chapters.Firstly,we make an introduction of the compiler,version,and content of the New Year Book since Jianyan,then make a review of the related researches.Meanwhile,the value and research methods of this paper are analyzed in this chapter.Secondly,we make an definition and classification of all diplomatic language in the New Year Book since Jianyan,then point out its background.Thirdly,we research on diplomatic language in the New Year Book since Jianyan from the perspective of communication subjects,presentation mode and communicative purpose,to define its basic characteristics.In the fourth chapter,we mainly analyze the euphemism and its manifestation of the diplomatic language of the New Year Book.In the last part of the paper,it mainly discusses the diplomatic institutions of early Dynasty Southern Song which are reflected in diplomatic languages,so as to have a clear understanding of the diplomacy model of the two countries.The conclusion part summarizes the full text,points out the shortcomings of the thesis,and discusses the space for further study of this thesis.
